Seeing Shah Rukh enjoying and dancing with ‘sundar kudiya’ in the snowy mountains was always fun, but watching him indulging in an intense fight with the goons was a more delightful treat to the eyes. I literally got a run of goosebumps! Although a criminal, but with a heart of gold, this is SRK in Raees.
On entering the theatre, there was a larger-than-life poster of Raees (SRK here), and people could not stop themselves from clicking selfies with the impresario. The movie begins with a bang, and his immense fan following gets justified. The movie is so tightly gripping that you just do not want even to blink. SRK, the epitome of versatility, has come over his image of the so-called ‘romantic chap’ and effortlessly played a bootlegger.

The heart-stealer of the movie are the witty dialogs!
The surma in SRK’s eyes is making him look amazing and the credibility to the role is mind-blowing. Simply shaandaar, the dialogs! The first one is “Koi dhandha chota nahi hota aur dhande se bada koi dharm nhi hota,” this shows that Raees believes in ‘Work is Life!’. Another one is “Din aur raat logo k hote hain, Shero ka toh zamana hota hai!” Woah! What a braveheart!
The sizzling, the dazzling, Laila!
Sunny has played an important part in the movie, she was the lurer sent by “Battery” (this is how SRK is referred to in the movie, due to his spectacles and he hates being called so!) himself. It is after this song only that ‘Battery’ indulges in a murder.
Chajje chajje ka pyaar!
The chemistry between Mahira Khan and SRK is a ‘khoob saras’ one! Insha Allah, the duo looks rocking! Mahira(Aasiya) plays the strength of SRK in the movie, she stands by his side.
