When we talk about our very own Bollywood divas, it’s seen that, in an urge to balance between career and family, often career looses its importance. But this is not the case for these actresses in my list. Marriage is no more a barrier in their glorious career and today most of the married Bollywood actresses are still ruling the industry.
1. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena Kapoor Khan was married to Chote Nawab on 16 October 2012, but nothing changed even after her marriage and she was consistent with her tremendous work. After her marriage, she made a major comeback with a hit item song ‘Fevicol Se’ in the movie ‘Dabangg’. Then she played the role of a prostitute in ‘Talaash’. Later, she did some quality movies and was appreciated for her performance. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Gabbar is Back’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ were some of her hits.
2. Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan was very conscious as her career faced a downfall with 3 consecutive flops and she thought her marriage would create a negative impact on her career but later she realised that it depends on the movie that whether it is good or not. After her marriage in 2012, she gave a not-so-good comeback with the song ‘Mala Jau De’ for the movie ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’. After this, she did a lead role in the movie ‘Kahaani’ which did well on the big screen. ‘Humari Adhuri Kahani’, ‘Kahaani 2’ and ‘Begum Jaan’ were some of her recent hits.
3. Malaika Arora Khan
Malaika married to Salman Khan’s elder brother in 1997. She maintained her fame in Bollywood with item numbers and cameo appearances. Her item number ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ in the movie ‘Dabangg’ was a trend setter and she gained a lot of fame with her amazing performance. She worked as an actress and as a producer too. She worked in many reality shows and maintained her status in Bollywood with supporting roles and item numbers.
